Big Hole River – Southwest Montana

Plan a group fly fishing trip on the Big Hole River in Southwest Montana. A bucket list river, the Big Hole is a Montana Blue Ribbon Trout Stream that is home to big Brown Trout, Rainbows and Cuts, and the Arctic Grayling. And the Silver Club boasts 3 ½ miles of private river frontage on the Big Hole!

An all-inclusive fly fishing lodge, we arrange daily guided fishing on the Big Hole or the nearby Beaverhead, Ruby, or Madison Rivers. The day begins with a freshly prepared breakfast. Our chef prepares a streamside lunch for your day of fishing that includes your favorite beverages. Your guide arrives by 9 am then you are off to a day on the river. You are welcomed back at the end of the day with appetizers and beverages from the guest refrigerator. A four-course dinner will be ready shortly.

The Fishing

Do you love to dry fly fish? Well, you are in luck. From the Mother’s Day Caddis hatch in May to the fabled Salmonfly hatch in June, until the Spruce Moths and Tricos in late summer, the Big Hole offers great topwater action. Nearby rivers such as the Beaverhead, Ruby, and Madison offer diversity and Blue Ribbon conditions. Stillwater anglers catch huge rainbows in Georgetown Lake while the adventurous anglers fish for native cutthroats in the nearby Wise River and numerous alpine lakes.

The Accommodations

The lodge boasts 8 guest rooms; 5 king bed master suites,  3 luxury lodge rooms with two queen beds, and two cozy loft-style log cabins as well as two upscale log cabins.  The Silver Bow Club is best suited for groups 4 to 24 anglers and guests.
